When I came to CIJ, it was Feb22. Specially,it’s my birth day.

So I can feel that it is my destination which will be successful. I arrived in Mactan airport at 7:00 am. 

In spite of early time, there are a teacher and a CIJ coordinator who came to airport to bring students to CIJ. So I could come to CIJ by car comfortably. While I was in the car, I had a chance to hear about Cebu. 

The teacher introduced me famous attraction and restaurant. At that time, I had in mind that I would like to trip these places. But my first goal is improving my English skill in CIJ. So it seems difficult to plan a trip.

After I Arrived in CIJ Academy, I was satisfied about the facility which is clean room, swimming pool, and gym. At the first time schedule is CIJ orientation that introduces CIJ’s life, Cebu, and rules. And then we start CIJ Academy life.

After 2 weeks, we could go to Nalusuan with my CIJ friends for a hopping tour. Fortunately, the weather was fine when we joined the hopping tour. It was wonderful and beautiful. The seaside looks like Emerald. I had never seen this view. As I walked around the island, I was fascinated by the view so I took a lot of pictures. And then we had snorkeling, we saw different kinds of fish and colorful coral reef. It was wonderful to witness Philippines’ natural resources.

Last Saturday that was Mach 23. I, Sylvia, and Joy could tour Cebu city with teacher Arien. Before, I heard that foreigners can’t go outside alone because it is quite dangerous. So didn’t try to go out only us. But we also want to see Cebu city. We started at 1:00 P.M. At that time it was so hot and clear weather. 

We first visited Spanish house that built only wood. It looks old but gorgeous. We moved to other place that was Cathedral church. It is a white church which is second biggest church in Cebu. The first time I saw this church Iwas amused. When we went inside the church, I could saw Jesus and other 2 people. 

At that time teacher could explain to us about this church’s history and myth. Because teacher’s major is tourism. So this time I could hear many things about it. We went out and then moved to Santo Nino by walking. While we were walking, we also saw a statue about Magellan. 

We arrived at Santo Nino we went into the building which was damaged by earthquake. There were many pictures about Magellan’s history. This place’s highlight was Saint Santo Nino. It is small doll which found by Magellan. Also many people were waiting for watching this. We moved to last place which is Fort San Pedro. 

It was camp which soldiers would hide from enemies. Its shape is square. So we could walk around it.

In CIJ, I can meet many people who are kind and friendly. So I could have a chance to trip around Cebu. 

These memories will be left in my mind for long time. Istill have 2 months left. For this time I will enjoy my life in CIJ.
