I have now entered my third week at CIJ Language School in Liloan, Cebu. My dormitory room is on the second floor, where the strong breeze keeps it cool and comfortable. The room is meant for two people, but since it’s the off-season, I am still alone—whether that’s lucky or unlucky, I’m not sure.

I tried moving my bed around and eventually settled under the air conditioner. At night, I turn on the air conditioner or the fan before sleeping but turn them off once I fall asleep. Since the wind comes in through the window, the temperature is just right for sleeping.

Being on the second floor, I can look down at the garden below or up at the sky, making me feel as if I am on a vacation. In my opinion, if you want to take a break from your tired body and mind, a one-month stay would be ideal. But if you want to fully immerse yourself in studying English, three to four months would be perfect.

Since CIJ Language School in Liloan offers lower tuition fees during the off-season from March to June, I highly recommend it!
